Submitted by ricj on Mon, 2006-09-25 14:47. Ric & JodieIt may be hard to tell, but there is a lot of green coming in at the conference center. And it is not because of the weather, it's got to be the blessings from missionaries in Wisconsin and England cause it has been cold here in Utah!
Here are more pictures including some of the lake!

Submitted by mike on Mon, 2006-08-07 05:07. Diana & JoeHere is a random picture for you. Eric and I were down stairs looking for the cat, I think her name is Maddy. We took some pictures of her underneath the couch. Eric eventually got her out and we got a picture of him with Maddy. He let her down and she decided to go back under the couch. It was just funny how she got under. The couch was very low to the ground. I managed to get this hilarious picture before she got all the way under. Eric and I wanted to show the family, but we forgot, so I am posting it for the whole family to see. We thought it looked like Maddy was being squashed, but you can see that she is purr-fectly fine, because she is poking her nose out to see us. Anyways, thought I ought to show you a funny picture.
Now Grandma, I just found out that you have a digital camera! I would like to see some posts from everyone, but especially you! You talked about a path of flowers, I would like to see those.

Moon Pie...
Submitted by mike on Mon, 2006-08-07 04:59. Diana & JoeFor the birthday cake, I made Moon Pie. It turned out alright, not as good as my mom's, but it was fine. Here is the recipe:
Moon Pie
In a heavy sauce pan stir together and cook on med. high until it thickens and forms into a ball:
1 C. water
1 cube margarine
1 C. flour
Cool for a few minutes, then beat in 4 eggs.
Spread on cookie sheet and cook at 425 for 20-25 min. until golden brown. Cool.
Topping 1: 8 oz. cream cheese (softened and whipped)
2 small instant vanilla pudding
4 C. milk
Topping 2: 1 large Cool Whip (16 oz.)
Drizzle Hershey's chocolate syrup over the whole thing (diagonally one way and then the other) and refrigerate.
Have fun!
-Mike
