Some ancestor images

Diana & Joe

Hi All. I have been working on our "family room" (thanks Grandma and Grandpa Jamison) by adding more family to the wall.

We have all the kids and us and our parents so now I'm adding you siblings and as many ancestors as I can get my hands on!

In the process I have found several I scanned at our reunion at Brian Head. Anyway, I have edited some (to put them with their companion) and formatted them so they will print well as 5x7. I have uploaded them to Picasa so you can download the originals for your own use.

Here is a slide show of the images.

Enjoy

He is really home!

Steven

We have been so excited to have Steven home! It is hard to believe that he is really here. I keep touching him to make sure he is real! Our two weeks with him are almost up as he leaves for Provo this week. The good news is that we can call him WHENEVER we want and if we want to see him we can get in the car and be there is four hours!

Tracting with Diana is fun!

Diana & Joe

Diana was wondering what to do for our good friend Father Hutt. He turned 95 today and she has been visiting him each week. She had a great idea for a gift. He use to walk up and down Grandview and visit people each night. So she had the idea to give him a video visit going down Grandview for his birthday.

So I grabbed the camera yesterday and we started at one end and started talking to people and asking them if they remembered Father Hutt and would they like to share a birthday greeting with him. Without exception, everyone was game.

We met so many wonderful people, many members and lots of non-members. It was fun and I mentioned how I looked forward to the day that we could go tracting together. I can't imagine anyone slamming the door on Diana!

So we edited the messages and delivered a DVD to him today for his birthday. He hasn't seen it yet, but I'm confident he will love it.

I have uploaded a small version of the video. It is kind of big, so if you don't have fast internet it might take awhile.

Pun Intended

Birthdays | Comics & Fun | Diana & Joe | Family | General | Herald | Leisure | Melinda

Yesterday was my friend Paul's birthday. He and his roommate Derek are great friends, former missionary companions (served in Tucson, AZ), and current home teaching companions (they teach me and my roommates). One thing they share in common is a love of puns.

I have always liked puns, but being around these guys has made me really love puns. So...for Paul's birthday, I decided to make him a card based on a pun and give him a list of puns I found on the internet.

The card went something like this (with illistrations and fun lettering Ü):
So it was my birthday. I had a big party, and my friend made me a birhtday cake. He brought it out, and it was a savory cake. It had a doughy base with cheese and all sorts of toppings sprinkled on top. I said, "That must have taken a lot of effort to make." And he said...

(then on the inside...)
... "No, it was a pizza cake."

Heee heeee heeee! Ü

A couple of my favorites:
* A rubber band pistol was confiscated from algebra class because it was a weapon of math disruption.
* He said I was average - but he was just being mean.
* When the smog lifts in Los Angeles, U C L A.
